Hey, I have always referred to bank CDs as certificates of death because of the pathetic rates of return.
Well just the other day, one of my Private Money Partners discovered this advertisement online and sent it to me.
To say the least, it gave me a nice chuckle. As you can see I added my own little typed comment on the ad. Can you believe it? This bank is actually recommending and suggesting that it’s a good idea to only make $40 on your $2000 per year. REALLY? You have got to be kidding me.
Did you know you can have total control over your rates of return?
This is why I teach others about alternate ways of investing their money. Once I get past their skepticism and fear by imparting knowledge into their traditional thinking minds, the light bulb comes on and they are kind of angry for not being aware that there is a better way.
I educate others that you can invest in alternative assets outside of the choices provided by your financial advisor? What if you can take your retirement money and help invest in your nephew’s start-up business? Or buy that investment property by the beach? These are just some examples of what you can do with a truly self-directed investment account.

And guess what? The profits on their investments are dumped right back in their retirement account TAX-FREE !!

Now back to the ad…And just for your information if you took them up on this offer, and lend this bank your $2000, the bank then will artificially create $18k in its computer to lend out to other borrowers for credit cards, cars, etc.
Great deal for the bank. I’m just saying…
