I get the opportunity to interact with lots of people everyday. I have noticed that many have a tendency to look at life like…basically looking through the key hole of a lock with two eyes at the same time. That’s how narrow minded some are.
When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change. Keep internalizing that and think about it. Of course the older we get the more brick headed we get. I’m not exempt because I fight that battle almost everyday.
In life people are either going into or coming out of a trauma. I can see you reading this and saying to yourself…”yea, you are right”.
What does this do with real estate? Everything! I have built a house buying machine over the years by becoming an expert “follow-upper”. I have learned that people are just going through this or that or in the middle of a particular problem or just coming out of a challenge.
My point is…everyone circumstances change with time. A person that calls me today that maybe wanting to sell their property often times call me again next year or the year after that because their circumstance have changed and they now need to sell their property. Life is an adventure and I have learned how not to be so narrow minded about life and stuff!
So when a homeowner or a potential Money Partner doesn’t do business with me today, I just continue to follow-up with them until they ask me to stop or they die.
