Diversify Your Investing…Be the Bank
I teach potential Private Money Partners how they can lend money from their IRA account Lending from an IRA has been an available investment option since IRAs were created in 1974, but many people are unaware.
I show them how they have the freedom to lend from their IRA accounts and receive principal and interest just like a bank. Lending from an IRA allows them the freedom to set their own terms and have more control over the growth of their retirement funds.
Type of Lending Transactions I Educate My Private Money Partners On
- Secured note that is backed by collateral (i.e. the property that I am purchasing), providing the Private Money Partner increased assurance of the return of the loan amount and interest.
One of the attractions to secured notes for many Private Money Partners is their collateral instruments, which serve as protection in the event of default. The underlying collateral, interest rates, and amortization are all agreed upon between the Private Money Partner and myself as the borrower, giving the Private Money Partner the ability to choose risk and tolerance levels.
Once the light bulb goes off in your head you’ll soon consider this alternative investment vehicle to fatten your retirement account.
********************************* If you are reading my blog for the first time, let me inform you that… My company buys single-family houses and I write this blog bi-weekly which is primarily directed to educate 1 group of individuals:
Individuals who are losing their shirt as a result of the “roller coaster” volatility of the stock market and low paying rate of other traditional investments, i.e. people that are looking for an opportunity that’ll provide a secured place to put their money to get it working for them to earn better than average returns.
However, often times, homeowners that need to sell their house, stop by to take a peek because they are curious and wondering how and/or where we get the funding to purchase houses. And if they stick around long enough, they begin to understand why individuals partner with us to provide the funding which empowers us to be able to purchase real estate on a continual basis. Simple, it’s because we teach them a secured way to earn better rates of return than they are currently earning.
