Getting Off The Sidelines And Getting Your Money Working For You

If you have been following me over the years you may be feeling that a self-directed IRA may be a great way for you to invest a portion of your retirement (rather than the unpredictable stock market)…If so, let’s get together over coffee or sweet tea and let me share the ends and outs of my real estate buying and selling machine and how my current Private Money Partners are utilizing their Self-directed IRAs to earn better than average returns by investing in the properties that I purchase.

When I buy properties, I prefer to borrow from private individuals.  Those funds usually come from a Self-Directed IRA account.

Banks, Insurance Companies, Financial Planners and Stock Brokers borrow money (from you) through Savings Accounts, Money Markets, CDs and Bonds, at a low interest rate and then loan the money to investors (like me) at a higher interest rate.

By borrowing from private individuals, I cut out the middle man and am able to give my Private Money Partners a higher interest rate.

Why would I do this?  Having the cash readily available allows me to buy quickly and often times at a discount.

P.S. I have put some of the Self-directed IRA custodian companies we have working relationships with in the links section on this page. They are great place to start because they have all kinds of resources to learn more about self-directed IRAs and how you can use them to invest in real estate.

********************************* If you are reading my blog for the first time, let me inform you that… My company buys single-family houses and I write this blog bi-weekly which is primarily directed to educate 1 group of individuals:

Individuals who are losing their shirt as a result of the “roller coaster” volatility of the stock market and low paying rate of other traditional investments, i.e. people that are looking for an opportunity that’ll provide a secured place to put their money to get it working for them to earn better than average returns.

However, often times, homeowners that need to sell their house, stop by to take a peek because they are curious and wondering how and/or where we get the funding to purchase houses. And if they stick around long enough, they begin to understand why individuals partner with us to provide the funding which empowers us to be able to purchase real estate on a continual basis. Simple, it’s because we teach them a secured way to earn better rates of return than they are currently earning.
