Unlike my Private Money Partners, the majority of Americans are still trusting their own retirements… IRAs… 401ks… with the stock market? Which is like a big balloon getting ready to pop.
Answer is, because unfortunately they don’t know any better.
The Self-Directed IRA for Real Estate
I educate others on something called a Self-Directed IRA. They’ve been around for a while… and in the past several years lots of people have realized that their IRAs aren’t earning them a darn thing (most of the time, even losing money). So, those people (maybe this is you) have started to look for other ways to earn better returns with that same IRA. All of my Private Money Partners were once in that “box”. I had to shovel a bit of education into their heads for that light bulb to come on and override that stubborn traditional investment thinking.
Now they are addicted to moving their un-invested money over to me so that I can buy more houses and ultimately give them a better than average return for the use of their funds.
It’s a WIN for everyone involved!
********************************* If you are reading my blog for the first time, let me inform you that… My company buys single-family houses and I write this blog bi-weekly which is primarily directed to educate 1 group of individuals:
Individuals who are losing their shirt as a result of the “roller coaster” volatility of the stock market and low paying rate of other traditional investments, i.e. people that are looking for an opportunity that’ll provide a secured place to put their money to get it working for them to earn better than average returns.
However, often times, homeowners that need to sell their house, stop by to take a peek because they are curious and wondering how and/or where we get the funding to purchase houses. And if they stick around long enough, they begin to understand why individuals partner with us to provide the funding which empowers us to be able to purchase real estate on a continual basis. Simple, it’s because we teach them a secured way to earn better rates of return than they are currently earning.
