Most of us want to make sure our investments are going to help pave the way to a comfortable retirement. The government encourages retirement investing by allowing, among other things, the Individual Retirement Account, or “IRA”.
Let’s Talk About IRAs…
Wall Street’s Biggest Lie…
The big investment firms on Wall Street tout the benefits of investing through an IRA. And they’re right: IRAs can be great vehicles, given their tax-favored status. However, the biggest lie on Wall Street is the “Self-Directed IRA”. They should call it, “The IRA Where WE Dictate What You Can Put In It Because We Know Better!”
Sheesh! What a joke!
Sure, these are some investments that the government will not allow in your IRA, but there are a whole group of investments that the government is just fine with you putting in your IRA…but the fee-hungry investment firms don’t want you to know about these!
Why? Because they don’t get their fat fees if you invest in these types of instruments.
Here’s the truth… You can invest in real estate through an IRA… but probably not through the one you already have. That’s because if you set up your IRA through one of the major Wall Street firms, or your typical bank you were probably sold a bill of goods that real estate was “not suitable”.
Did you know you can invest in many types of real estate through a truly “self-directed” IRA.
I specialize in divulging this information that’s been kept from you all these years…the exciting possibilities of having real estate investments grow tax-deferred or tax-free in an IRA.
********************************* If you are reading my blog for the first time, let me inform you that… My company buys single-family houses and I write this blog weekly which is primarily directed to educate 1 group of individuals:
Individuals who are losing their shirt as a result of the “roller coaster” volatility of the stock market and low paying rate of other traditional investments, i.e. people that are looking for an opportunity that’ll provide a secured place to put their money to get it working for them to earn better than average returns.
However, often times, homeowners that need to sell their house, stop by to take a peek because they are curious and wondering how and/or where we get the funding to purchase houses. And if they stick around long enough, they begin to understand why individuals partner with us to provide the funding which empowers us to be able to purchase real estate on a continual basis. Simple, it’s because we teach them a secured way to earn better rates of return than they are currently earning.
