I am a strong advocate of teaching others about the powerful benefits of having and utilizing a Self-Directed IRA.
One of my mentors always said that I should “look at dollar bills as your employees; Do everything to put them to work 24/7 to make you more money; Don’t work for money…put your money to work for you”.
This is going to be a radical statement…but if you think saving money is noble…I beg to differ. Some say cash is King…I beg to differ due to a phenomenon called “inflation”.
The reason money is called currency is because it is supposed to flow. Not be piled up as savings. Inflation will kill it !!
This is what I do…and I teach others to do: store money for a short period of time until you can invest it.
This is where the beauty of the Self-Directed IRA comes into play. It is an magnificent vehicle to control and direct your money into investments you choose. And better yet, the profits that you earn on those investments are Tax-Free.
If you earn profits on Wall Street are the profits Tax-Free? That’s a resounding NO! Of course not.
Money Needs To Make Babies, To Multiply
Cash is like paper…it’s only good when it’s used. If you store it up somewhere “un-invested” for too long it will disappear.
It takes over 800 years to double your money at the rates banks are paying today. Savings accounts aren’t even paying 1 percent. Inflation is around 3 percent. Can you say “moving backwards” !!!
This why I teach others and especially potential Private Money Partners to open a Self-Directed IRA to temporarily store their cash, then invest the storage. I favor real estate so I present opportunities to others to invest their “storage” in real estate.
I say saving money is useless. Personally, I don’t save money; I only store it for a short period of time until I can invest it.
Temporarily store your cash, and then invest the storage.
I suggest you invest your “storage” in real assets that produce cash flow…like REAL ESTATE.
